The Vigil Honor however                                       is the only one bestowed upon a member of the order, and can only be done so                                     by other Vigil Honor members. It is bestowed upon those who they believe have                                     exhibited a cheerful spirit and exemplary leadership in service towards others,                                         the Lodge, and Scouting in general. Only 3-6 a year are bestowed in our 250+                                         member lodge.

                                    Vigil  Name: "Amangiechsin", Which in the Lenape Dialect of the Delaware                                               Indians translates roughly to "He/One Who Speaks Loudly".

 

                        Venturing Silver - Crew 447, Coshocton, OH.

           

                                    -The Silver Award, up until 2015 was the highest award a person can earn in                                           Venturing, the Coed, high adventure based, branch of the Boy Scouts of                                                   America. It is equivalent to the Eagle award. The award was Discontinued, and                                         replaced with the new Summit Award in 2015.
